Well, I’ve completed Psychoblogger Beta 1. whew. I’m still working on it so it’s not quite ready for “production”, (hence the beta) but I’m looking for anyone who would like to test it out. It does require PHP and MySQL. I’m not versed with other SQL servers, so MySQL it is. I thought about making a port for ASP with MSSQL Server, but I think I’ll save that for later. If I even decide it’s worth it. If you’re interested in just testing it out let me know!

btw, I’m not looking to replace MT or GM. I can’t compete with that. I just started my own just because well, I was bored, and I thought, might as well.

I feel as if that’s what I’m saying when I talk on my cell phone. Maybe I should have went with Verizon wireless. But I have Voicestream, and they had the best deal at the time for me. Actually I think it’s this motorola phone I got. It’s the T193 and while it’s a great phone, sometimes it doesn’t work very well. Nevermind using the headset, or rather earphone that it came with. Everything is all muffled. But at least I finally did get to download a custom ringtone. I got Sugar Ray’s “Answer the Phone”. Thought it was kinda funny myself.

I’ve always enjoyed a good laugh. Being Japanese and being raised by a Japanese mom in a dominantly english-speaking environment, I personally have experienced many a good laugh at the “Engrish” my mom spoke. But you just have to laugh at all the little sayings that the Japanese people put on their products.

They’ve done such a great job of capturing the essence of “Engrish”. It’s a whole new language spoken in Japan, don’t you know?

Now I have to get all of the things I’ve bought in Japan and see what kind of ridiculous phrases are on those.

I love that site. You should visit it. I remember finding a while ago when I was making my own Japan site (http://www.geocities.com/validus2) and just died laughing. (and yes, my Japan site is one of my first websites I made.)

The strangest things are happening. Last night I was in bed reading, and I could smell food. I mean a distinct smell of like breakfast foods. Sausage, bacon, and pancakes. But I wasn’t cooking, and I live alone. Odd. Then I woke up this morning, and I smelled something again. This time it was different. Wasn’t quite pancakes but some kind of bread or something similar. Again I wasn’t cooking anything. Strange, isn’t it?
