This is *my* year. You just wait and see. :)

Sometimes I see a photo and it moves me. I get amazed at the wonders of the world, people, and structures. A while back I had seen an incredible photo and forgot to post about it. It was the photo of the week at photo.net and well deserved.

Note the people at the bottom of the picture. Amazing. I’m still amazed at looking at this picture. The second I saw this picture, I knew I wanted to go to Italy. Simply beautiful!

Still in progress. I cannot believe how tough it is to get 100% complete on this freaking game. I’m now at 98% complete. I’m still trying to figure out exactly what the remaining 2% is! Sheesh!

Has anyone completed it with 100%? I’m just wondering on the tactics on how to beat the boss levels in Via Infinito. I’m on level 80, and getting my ass kicked. How annoying.

On a different note, I’ve found that the game’s replay value is incredibly high. There are plenty of items to be found if you choose different paths through the game. I’m simply amazed Really. Of course, not all choices allow you to receive 100% completion.

Wow. It’s been 7 years since jennicam first opened it’s doors. Jennicam almost seems like a part of the web that was always going to be there. So this year it’s announced that Jennicam will be closing it’s doors on New Year’s Eve this year. It’s Really almost unbelievable. I remember when I first heard about it, I was thinking that it was pretty damn cool.

And I thought it was bad enough when puce closed down, although that was understandable.

At least it’s Friday. :)

Well, I finally finished Final Fantasy X-2. It was pretty great! I just couldn’t believe the number of “mini-games” in it! Sheesh, could there be any more of them? The ending was pretty good, although because I only completed 95% of the game, I didn’t get to see the “perfect” ending. I thought the ending was pretty damn good, so I’m baffled as to what the “perfect” ending would be.

I have spent way too many hours playing this game. Well, ok only about 30 hours. So far it’s great. It’s got so many “mini-games” it’s not even funny. There are so many options on how to play it. If you’ve played Final Fantasy XI, then it’s very similar to it in a few ways. I’m loving it!

I must be on a roll….two friday’s in a row. :)

One day, I remember driving around doing errands and such with a few friends. We were looking for Christmas gifts and other non-trivial such things that you do during the holidays. While pulling out of a parking lot of some strip mall like any other, one of my friends said “Hey, look at that girl, she’s crying.” I looked over to notice a red Nissan 300Z, and young girl crying her eyes out. As she whipped out of the parking lot, we all just sat and said at the same time, “I wonder why she’s crying.” We could have formulated stories and such, but we decided right off the bat that she must have been crying because her boyfriend had done something Really stupid.

For some reason, of all the memories that I have, that one seems to stand out quite a bit. I felt bad that she had to go through whatever she may have been going through. I never knew her name, or who she was. But I felt great sympathy.

One of my friends had also remembered a short while back (probably a few months or so) and said to me, “Remember that one girl we saw crying? I hope she’s ok now. Man, I don’t want anything like that to happen to her again.”

A girl we hardly knew, except for her tearing eyes, we had felt incredible sympathy for. You know, sometimes it surprises me just how compassionate people are. Makes me glad to be alive.
