For those of you who are connecting via an RSS reader, I’m sorry, ExpressionEngine decided to change the way they have it, I’m not quite sure how to make it point to index.xml quite yet. For now, please update the feed to the following:

Ok. Things are probably pretty funky. First of all, you might not have that skin you chose earlier before. I’m working on the skins module. Second of all, you might notice that things look Really different. Since I finally got ExpressionEngine up and running, there were a few hacks I wasn’t able to implement right away. But I knew I wanted to get things rolling before I started making too many posts, too many comments were coming up, etc so on and so on.
If you’re having any problems at all, please let me know! I don’t want any folks having problems accessing this site.
Ok, so I’ve determined you can’t use the css template method to skin ExpressionEngine. Actually if anyone has any ideas how it’s done, please let me know. I figure the reason is because the EE variables are parsed before PHP routines are. Which makes sense.
I am now reinstalling everything from scratch. I guess I could have followed the instructions to update from the trial, but hey, I never do the RTFM thing. ;)
I’m just hoping this stuff works! Now I’m just wondering how I can implement the “read more…” aka “more…” hack.
Well, the plan was to update everything to EE tonight, but I Really did some messing up with the templates, and lo behold, a lot of things need to be adjusted in my own custom code and some of my small “hacks”. So I’m going to just restart the entire process. Fun Fun!

I finally finished my latest skin. In case you’re wondering who that girl is, it’s Hamasaki Ayumi. I just can’t get over how easy it is to create skins right now. There are a few things I wish I could do, but that would require a lot of customization and well, I’m almost too lazy to implement the old style (prior pMachine) method of skinning my site.
