I almost regret watching this show the first time. Now I’m going to get attached to it, and they’re going to cancel the show. (well, let’s hope not, but it happens to me, I swear it!)
I’m just a little confused about the girls though. Is it me, or has Lucas gone out with all the girls? Damn, he must be the man! I only caught up with this show later on, I don’t know how many seasons it’s been running. (or if it’s still in the first season!) If anyone can help me out with the situation that would be great. :)

I really wanna go ahead and say its the first season but I am not completely sure if it is, if it isn’t that its the second season. I really love that show but I always miss it because I usually pass out from being so tired around that time.

Technically it is the first season of the show—I think they are going to say that it’s the second though. The show started in the fall but it got about 6 episodes in or whatever then took a big long break (just showed repeats) before starting to show new ones again.
I’m personally addicted to the show (thank god for my tivo). The only drama’s like this that I watch are one tree and smallville so I think I’ve got the best of them.
Yeah, so technically then, this *is* the 2nd season then. I knew I wasn’t that insane. It’s kinda like when Twin Peaks ran, the First season was 7 episodes, then the second (and last) season was 21.
You should check out Everwood Kev. Not quite the same as One Tree, but it’s still pretty good. I try to watch that as well, but unlike some folks, I don’t have Tivo, let alone cable. :)
I’ve seen everwood a few times but for me it always seemed dangerously close to a soap opera—like there were too many different groups of people or something. I like smallville and one tree because it’s a small cast and you really get into each character, maybe I just haven’t given everwood enough of a chance I’ll have to watch it again soon.
And you have to get a tivo—I don’t have cable (I’m a sat dish boy) but TV without Tivo is painful now, I never watch comericals or have to tiem when I’m going to be home to wat ch certian shows. And it’s great for doing your own instant replays (superbowl moments anyone?)

And in One Tree, since I missed some shows, I often get confused on who is who, what is what. Like I didn’t know that Karen (Moira Kelly) was Lucas’ mother. Then I thought that Keith (Craig Sheffer) was Karen’s brother for some reason. Don’t get me started on the girls. The only one I know for sure is Peyton. (and that’s probably because I like that name)
LOL I tivo would be cool I suppose, but I’m sure that for getting 5 channels, it’s not quite worth it. :)
