New Gallery

Well, I’ve updated my gallery, using new software. I’m now using Coppermine Photo Gallery. It seems to be working well. I’ve also moved the gallery to this site, which you can now reach at http://www.psychodaisy.com/gallery/. Feel free to update your bookmarks.

  1. I love Coppermine. Been using it for quite a while now.  My only problem with it, and every other gallery out there, is that I can’t integrate it into my pMachine or EE member lists and permissions.  (There’s a coppermine port for pM, but I from what I hear it’s more trouble than it’s worth. YMMV.)

I’m curious to see the photo gallery module for EE.  I hope it’s not too far off.

  2. I have Coppermine and EE installed but can’t get the stupid Coppermine Random Photo hack (ssi.php) to work.

I can include it just fine but everytime I make a call for the random photo I get

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cpg_random() in /home/user/public_html/system/core/core.functions.php(519) : eval()’d code on line 5”

It doesn’t matter which commands I try either.

    Any thoughts?

    FYI,

I included the ssi.php in a header template set to Input and embedded into the other template which is set to output.  The State Input/Output of the templates seems to have no effect on the calls failing.

P.S. Your Contact form doesn’t seem to be working.

  3. Ok, I can’t seem to find the photo hack information. Where can I find it? I’m guessing that what you want is to include the 1 random photo that goes to your gallery right?
