I won’t say much about the Oscars, since I don’t Really have much to say about shows like that.
Best Actor: Knew Sean Penn was going to win. I wanted Johnny Depp to win, but Sean was a good choice. Thought Jude Law looked a little injured, but hey, like Sean said, “there are no BEST actors.”
Best Actress: As if I had any doubts that Charlize Theron was going to win.
The entire Lord of the Rings winning. 11 Oscars. Tied with Titanic and Ben Hur. Man, how I wanted them to win just 1 more so they could beat out Titanic.

Hmm I didn’t even notice that!
To me the most absurd part of the whole thing was that Monster wasn’t even nominated in the makeup effects category. The job they did on Charlize Theron was nothing short of amazing.
