Remember back in driving class (or whatever you took) when they told you you should stay 1 car-length per 10 mph behind the car in front of you? At least, I remember them saying that. I thought about that today, and realized no one Really follows that rule. Who came up with that rule anyways? I bet it’s the same person who came up with the hands on the 10-2 or 9-3 locations of the steering wheel.
And I still think NASCAR drivers tailgate.

I guess you have never rear ended any one then… I can’t stand riding shot gun and having the person not brake when the cars in front of them all have their brake lights on… I step on my imaginary “Drivers Ed Teacher Brake” and hold on for dear life…
I drive like I am in a NASCAR race all of the time, but if I even see a red light come on a few cars ahead, I know I better back off or change lanes…
