I finally got around to watching this latest adaptation of the Japanese comic. This version is not the original story, and has had some changes done to it. There were 2 movies prior to this one that was more along the lines of the original story. I liked this one though. I haven’t seen the other 2 actually, so I’m curious to see them. I haven’t read the original comics either, so I’m not sure what the original story was like. But still, this has some Seriously incredible fight scenes! Shaku Yumiko does a great job in this movie.
Has anyone else seen this? If you like swordfights, then this movie is a must see! There’s also a small bit of romance and drama as well. It makes me want to know more about the world of Shirayuki Hime.

I keep looking at it at the video store and then passing it up. I originally wanted to see it when I saw the ad campaign in NewType, but then when I actually looked at the DVD cover, I thought it looked sort of cheesy. But, if you recommend it, maybe I’ll grab it up on the next go and check it out!

I’m going to be complaining about that movie for *weeks*, I feel so ripped off. *grin* Campy, I’m okay with! Campy can be good! Dumb is sadly just dumb.
