Snuggle Bear

Ok, apparently the Snuggle Bear is evil. Or at least the one that is apparently showing up on the new commercials. I haven’t seen these commercials, but I just remember him being a cute and cuddly little teddy bear. The way my friends described him, it was as if it was Teddy Ruxpin and Godzilla were combined. Just not sure what to think of this! I never thought of Snuggles as evil! Is this true? Does anyone have a pic of this to share?

Thank goodness I packed my PC

While going through my stuff to get rid of all the junk I own, I came across my Diablo II CD’s. If I hadn’t packed my PC already, I’d be playing it right now. And thank goodness I don’t have the mac version. ;)

Having a bad day?

Today during lunch we went to a restaurant we frequent quite a bit. They were pretty damn busy. Apparently the waitress was having a Seriously bad day. We ordered our food, and we had decent service. So first of all, she gave us the wrong check. Ok, that’s cool, then we got the right one. Ok. We figure it out, and 2 of us had enough to cash to pay, unfortunately, the other 2 did not. So, they had to use debit/credit cards. Now we’ve done this countless many times before. But not with this waitress. So first she complained about not having separate checks. I’ll go with that. But she stood at the table and starting manually adding the totals up. At first, she took one order and then added the 2nd credit card order to it. “Oh wait, these are on separate credit cards??” And being frustrated, she X’ed the totals she just did, and ripped through the check in the process. Ok. Get your frustrations out! So she started totalling them again, and finally got things going. She didn’t have to total it up right there; she could have gone into the kitchen where I know they have a calculator. She could have gone back there and beat things or something to get her frustration out. I think at that point, I didn’t care how much longer it would take.

So after taking all the money and figuring everything out, she apologized for taking so long, “but please next time, let me know it’ll be on separate checks.” Yeah, no problem, I guess we should be the ones to be sorry anyways, right? It’s just that we’ve done it so many times before, it just never seemed to be a problem. I thought she should have yelled at us and just said “sorry for you guys being such dumbasses.” I would have respected that apology more than the apology for taking so long. I would have even tipped her more!

She was having such a bad day. How’s yours?
