I’ve been looking around to see what products are out there for my Ti Powerbook. As many know, the Titaniums get incredibly hot. I’m not too concerned about my legs, but I don’t want my laptop to get too hot from use. I do a lot of file transferring and all my E-mail on it, and I’m not too keen on losing it because of heat issues.
I’ve been looking at a few like the Coolpad, and it just looks like all it does is raise the back of the laptop off the desk. Well, I already do that with a small dowel i run across the bottom back of my laptop. I’m just wondering if that’s enough! If anyone can recommend a good “cooler” for the laptop, that would be great! : )

I recently saw someone at work with coolpad-esque device with fans built in undernearth it. We may be selling it, I’ll look into it and see what it is called.
Today’s word is “wanted.” Yoshi “wanted” a device to keep his powerbook cool. Wanted.

Just submerge it in some ice water… ;)
Go to Home Depot or some other hardware type store and pick up either a 12” x 12” or 16” x 16” floor tile, pick your material (with a flat surface) and away you go. The material pulls the heat away sorta like it would for setting a hot pan off the stove. Started doing that long ago with my 400mhz Powerbook 15” (the month after they were first released) and on to a 12” and 15” AI Powerbooks…
