Apparently, there was a huge flaw in my logic on trying to figure out if any given day was a member’s birthday. This is now fixed, and should be working fine.
Download the new plugin from the downloads section on the left of the home page and just replace it in your plugins folder.

I just upgraded to birthdays 1.2 and I noticed that my birthday 11/26 did not recognize the date correctly. i.e. on 11/26 (UTF +9) it did not say it was my birthday. But today it is – My server is in a different timezone.
I thought that the timezone would be recognized by what is in the control panel settings for the blog.
anyhow great plug-in, hope this can get fixed.
Timezones are tricky on this plugin. still have been trying to get this fixed. So for now, there isn’t any localization..it’s based on the server timezone.
