Ok, so I’ve been writing this Linklist module for Expression Engine. It’s getting there. It’s functionally working as a genuine link list except for a few features, one of them being no updated times, but I’m working on that. Regardless, I’ve replaced my links page with the new module. So far it’s working rather well.

I’ve gotten rid of Blogrolling. I’m a gold member, but lately, I’ve been having nothing but headaches. I’ll let it go and use the module instead. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

What a blunder!

Seems TOR blundered on the release of Debt Of Bones paperback today. On the copyright page, it says “Robert Jordan”. Oops! Debt of Bones is written by Terry Goodkind! How can we make this mistake? Who knows, in the world of publishing!

Well Debt of Bones was released today in paperback in the US.

And Today they are all being recalled and destroyed.

Seems TOR messed up.

On the copyright page of the book it says

yup you read that right, someone messed up and put Jordans name on the copyright page.

Needless to say that is a very bad thing, which prompted TOR to recall every copy of the book to be destroyed.

So run out and buy it today if you can because odds are tommorow it won’t be there.

It’s time for the holidays!

Yeap, it’s that time of the year again. It’s my favourite season, what I just call “The Holidays!” :) Time to bust out your decorations and movies you love to watch over the christmas season. I, myself, am particularly fond of these movies (in no particular order):

Christmas Story

Scrooged

Nightmare Before Christmas

Any variation of A Christmas Carol. (Most of them, I think, but not all)

I just love watching those. :) If anything I try to watch at least those movies for the holidays. Then there’s the Hallmark commercials. Brings a tear to your eye they do!

Oh! I also started up a new “christmas-y” skin for you all to enjoy. Currently, there’s no way to change the skin, but hey, what can you do. I just made the default to the “pd-x(mas)” skin. It’s essentially the same thing, different masthead. I’m sure I’ll be adding more things here or there as I suit myself. But, then again, I might not. :) Just trying to keep things clutter free around here. It’s that minimalist thing.

Whew! Got it in just in time. Thanks to jules I got it in! :) It’s also my birth month as well, so here comes some good luck! Woohooo! :)

Reminder for all you Expression Engine users, version 1.2 is ready for beta release. Find out more on how to become a part of it on the homepage! Version 1.2 also has the new, much anticipated Image Gallery Module as well. So far, it’s quite tasty. :)

I’ve been working hard on the new linklist module for Expresion Engine. It’ll be something else when it’s released. Which I hope is very soon!
