Ok, if you downloaded the linklist module before this time this has been posted, then please re-download the module and replace the mod.linklist.php file in your modules directory. There was an issue with the prepend_str and append_str variables that made it show ALL the time and not when the site was updated. Oops! :)

Hi
Thanks for creating this new module. I’m trying it out right now. Where do I report bugs or problems? I’ve noticed the following
1.) When trying to import my del.icio.us and furl OPML files I receive and UNEXPECTED ERROR.
2.) When I specified my bloglines URL being http://www.bloglines.com/export?id=oracleappsblog it imported correctly but I received the following error messages Notice: Undefined index: URL in /home/pmh2998/public_html/rkb/modules/linklist/mcp.linklist.php on line 2576
I’ve just realised the reason why I had an error message with bloglines is that this module does not have folder support which is provided with bloglines. Would it be possible to add folder support so that links can be categorised in much the same way that EE supports having hierarchical categories?
OK, I’m thinking out loud here. I mentioned folder support in my previous post or sorting according to specific categories. I thought that the xfn_linkcode could be used to do this, that is you could tag each link and then sort according to that tag. I notice, however, that there is no option to tag or add an XFN code to a link. Would this be an option and then you could change the rel option to be rel="{xfncode}". Does that sound feasible. I’m think of some way of categorising the links in much the same way as del.icio.us allows you to.
Mmm… I’m really on a roll today. How about having an export to OPML feature in the same place where you can do the import? This way you can export a listing to del.icio.us, furl, bloglines, newsgator etc. Obviously before you include this option you would have to amend the bookmarklet feature so that when you add a URL you can specify what the tags are in the same way that del.icio.us does. I’m asking for this because this module now enables me to maintain all my links in EE and then merely export them to other sources.
More inspiration – once a bookmarklet is created it is not saved. This means if I want to use the same bookmarklet again I have to go and recreate it rather that using one that’s already been created – get it?
