In case you’re wondering, yes, the Blogathon is soon approaching. We have now just over 9 days until the event. You’ve got plenty of time to sponsor! No amount is too little.
I’ll go into why I’m blogging for The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Some of you may or may not know about a very dear close friend who lost her life in a motorcycle accident earlier this month. Jenny Rebecca was a cancer survivor, and a fighter. There was never a sad moment with her. If there was ever an optimist, it would be Jen.
Earlier this month while riding her motorcycle out with her friend’s daughter on the back, a truck went to make a left turn, not seeing her and she collided head on. The intersection in question is a very dangerous intersection. Her friend’s daughter is now recovering at home. Luckily, she survived with a broken leg, and other smaller injuries. The doctors said that Jen had died almost instantaneously. Just last friday, we had her memorial.
I’ll be blogging for her, for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which she fought for, to find the cure.
Jen, we love you very much. Keep fighting the good fight.
