100 Facts in 100 Days – Day 7

7. This may be better explained some other way, but my explanation is simple. I am very easily distracted. In turn, this causes me to Totally forget what I was doing. Let me give you 2 examples of this:

1. This morning I was getting ready to take Meesh to work. I asked her, “do you want me to make you lunch?” to which she responded, “sure.” So I was ready to make a sandwich for her. She then asked me if we had any chips, which after a short search in the pantry, was a “No.” Then she made a comment about the neighbor’s dog barking, and how it barks all the time. I went to go look outside and see if he was barking at someone, and nope, nothing out there. Then I proceeded to sit down at the computer to go back to work.

Meesh: “um… did you forget about my sandwich already?” (obviously Meesh has lived with this craziness long enough to know.)

Yoshi: “OMG! I’m sorry!”

2. I went to a candy machine to get a candy bar, because I was feeling like a Snickers. So I punch the button for snickers, and watch it fall. While watching it fall, I notice the Baby Ruth bar and think, “wow, that sounds good too.” When reaching in to get the Snickers, I think, “Hmm. That doesn’t feel like a Baby Ruth.” That has got to be a record, right?

Quick Poll

Ok, since it’s brought up, I’ve got to take a poll. Please make sure you vote. Because this is an ongoing argument, I’ll leave the poll open forever.

The argument of course, is exactly how many are there in a few? I say a few is only 3. No more, no less. Anything more than 3 is several.

You be the judge!
