Participate in Friday’s Feast!
Appetizer – If you could have a free subscription to any magazine, which one would you like to have?
Hmm this is tough, as there are a couple magazines I’d like to have. I guess I would have to say Shutterbug, because I can’t get enough photography info, tips, tricks, techniques, and so on. Since I love photography, that’s definitely a plus.
Soup – Describe your living room (furnishings, colors, etc.).
The living room has a loveseat, and a divan with a circular glass coffee table between them. We have hardwood floors, so there is a large rug so we don’t scratch up the floor too much. Behind the divan is our treadmill, which continues to just sit there. Of course, this is all in view of the entertainment center, with our many DVD’s and Videos.
Salad – What does the shape of a circle make you think of?
Something round? Um… A wheel perhaps? I’m not quite sure what else to say. I’ll be curious to see how other folks answer this.
Main Course – Name 3 things in your life that you consider to be absolute necessities.
1. Clothes
2. Food
3. Shelter
How’s that for simple? :P Or were you looking for a rather materialistic answer?
Dessert – What was the last Really funny movie you watched?
I’ll have to say Over the Hedge. That was a Really great movie, even if it had Gary Shandling in it. :P

Thirteen pros and cons of being your own boss.
CON: You always know when you’re going to call out of work because of some stupid reason.
CON: You’re always around.
CON: You know you’re not cool.
CON: You can never stand over your own shoulder. (try it!)
CON: There’s no one to micro-manage.
CON: You can take a break whenever you want. (nothing gets done this way.)
CON: You never leave work if you work at home.
CON: None. Who cares what so-and-so has.
CON: You just realized you have no social skills because you don’t talk to anyone all day.
CON: Cruising interesting websites all day makes for a non productive day.
CON: You can work on your personal website all day.
CON: You only know too well that things are hard for your business.
CON: You’ve got to go to work.
