While this is a relatively early notification, this will give plenty of people time to get things set up. As you may or may not know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and is also time for the Boobiethon. This year however, Matthew is opening up Pink for October also! The idea is relatively simple, you can consider redesigning your site for the month of October, to pink.
For those of you who stuck through Blogathon 2006 with me already know that I was blogging for The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and that I already have a pink layout. So for the whole month of October, to help raise dollars and donations for Breast Cancer Awareness, I’ll be converting this blog back to the pink, and will be again “blogging for a cure.”
I hope you all can contribute or at least think about a ribbon or the link to the Pink for October site. Together, we can find a cure!

I don’t know about redesigning my site to pink, simply because I pull my hair out enough with one theme as it is… but I will definately be doing the ribbon etc.
My grandmother got breast cancer when I was 12 and had a breast removed, and was taken by lung cancer when I was 20.
It’s something that is very close to my heart. Thanks for helping to raise awareness.
(How eerie that the word I need to submit to post this is ‘dead’)
My layout is slightly pink. I’ll go all out for the month though! My little brothers best friends mother (she was a neighbor as well) just died of breast cancer not too long ago :(
I’ll spread the word, too.
I’m joining it as well :) Btw, I like your pink template
