100 Facts in 100 Days – Day 7

7. This may be better explained some other way, but my explanation is simple. I am very easily distracted. In turn, this causes me to Totally forget what I was doing. Let me give you 2 examples of this:

1. This morning I was getting ready to take Meesh to work. I asked her, “do you want me to make you lunch?” to which she responded, “sure.” So I was ready to make a sandwich for her. She then asked me if we had any chips, which after a short search in the pantry, was a “No.” Then she made a comment about the neighbor’s dog barking, and how it barks all the time. I went to go look outside and see if he was barking at someone, and nope, nothing out there. Then I proceeded to sit down at the computer to go back to work.

Meesh: “um… did you forget about my sandwich already?” (obviously Meesh has lived with this craziness long enough to know.)

Yoshi: “OMG! I’m sorry!”

2. I went to a candy machine to get a candy bar, because I was feeling like a Snickers. So I punch the button for snickers, and watch it fall. While watching it fall, I notice the Baby Ruth bar and think, “wow, that sounds good too.” When reaching in to get the Snickers, I think, “Hmm. That doesn’t feel like a Baby Ruth.” That has got to be a record, right?

Quick Poll

Ok, since it’s brought up, I’ve got to take a poll. Please make sure you vote. Because this is an ongoing argument, I’ll leave the poll open forever.

The argument of course, is exactly how many are there in a few? I say a few is only 3. No more, no less. Anything more than 3 is several.

You be the judge!

Don’t forget to check out Kimmie, and send some loving, she was sick and had to go into the ER because of an earache. You can reach her by clicking on her thumbnail on the right underneath “Rent.”

6. Sometimes, I’m Really stubborn. I’m so stubborn, that I once had an argument about exactly how much was in “a few”, as opposed to “a couple”.

Vince: Dude, a few is 3 or more.

Yoshi: No, a few is 3. More than 3, is “or more”. But if you say “a few” you mean 3. Just like if you say “a couple” it means 2.

V: No, a few is 3 or more.

Y: No, a few is 3.

V: No, a few is 3 or more. A few can mean 10.

Y: No, there’s no way 10 means a few. There’s just no way that you could say a few and mean 10. No way.

(this goes one for some time. Finally I’ve had it.)

Y: (holding up 3 fingers in front of Vinces face and yelling) 10 IS 3!

It’s Monday, 8/21

Weekend recap: Consisted mainly of me being a party pooper after we went to the Pet Parade in downtown Olympia. Many awesome pets that day. However, after the event, I was not feeling so hot. I had the sickening feeling in my stomach, I’m pretty sure that the sausages I had for breakfast were a bit too greasy. So I had to pass up on a birthday party for a friend. Hated to do that, but it was better to do that then feel sick all weekend, right?

Then on sunday, we had barbeque over at the parent’s house, for my brother-in-law’s birthday. Awesome food. Had some halibut and salmon. Kick ass, I always look forward to the “secret” recipe that my father-in-law has. Very very tasty. And of course, it’s just nice to see the family. I was saying we should do this more often. Oh, and of course we were admiring the pond that my father-in-law spruced up. He made one of the upper ponds deeper and higher to create a bigger waterfall effect. Very kick ass, and I will have to show some pictures. I keep forgetting about this.

They were also showing off their new pacu, a cousin to piranha. Very big. Of course, I’m told that they’re not quite as aggressive as their piranha cousins, but I’ll pass the cuddling and petting of those fish. They still have big teeth. Maybe I’ll somehow manage to get a picture of him. Not sure how just yet. :)

PIMP Just a reminder, to make sure you visit Kimmie, under “Rent” on the right. :) Show her some lovin’ by going over and giving a comment saying hi. I know that would be a nice thing. I know I like comments that say “hi! I’m from etc etc”.

100 Facts in 100 Days – Day 5

5. I am a military brat. While that might not mean much to a lot of folks, it means a lot to me. Because it meant every couple of years ( or even less! ) I had to move, while growing up. As you can imagine, your sense of “hometown” becomes where you were last, or at the most, where you spent the longest time. You either quickly make friends, or don’t make many friends at all. Relationships were very fleeting, although you have to admit that during those years, it was already very fleeting. Being a military brat was both a blessing and a curse.

100 Facts in 100 Days – Day 4

4. I’m Seriously into the paranormal. You might have gathered this, if you had read a prior post about ghosts. But Seriously, since I’ve been about as old enough to read, I’ve been reading books about the unexplained, the paranormal, UFO’s, and so on. I’ve even dabbled a little bit into a bit of magick. And yes, I do spell it magick, though I don’t Really know why. Too many friends that spelled it that way perhaps. Little known fact, I also carry a small talisman, everywhere I go, a small talisman to ward off evil. Does it work? Who’s to say? I believe it. So it works for me. Do you believe in the paranormal, do you believe in ghosts, or magick?

Because you Really should! promotion: I just want to let people know, if you haven’t already, to check out Kimmie’s site. You’ll find her under “Rent” on the right menu. Really. Go.

Shameless self-promotion: I am currently rated as 6.5/10 on Hot or Not Designs.  This is great! I love this current theme (Turtle Zen) as well.

I’m also moving down the list on 25peeps.com Please click on my image to keep me alive there! Actually, I’ve made it 1 day there, and I’m pretty satisfied, but I’d love to see it stay on for a while over the other shots of what “look like” breasts (but are Really the cracks of someone’s butt!). Feel free to click on me from any computer you might have access to.
