Wow, so if you haven’t heard in the news, Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter was killed by a stingray today.
I’m just simply shocked, and I’m in disbelief over this incident. It’s very sad to know that there will no longer be anymore Crocodile Hunter shows, and to hear about his adventures saving the various animals of the world.
Steve Irwin, rest in peace.

I know. I’m sad. :(
I’m very sad. Ken told me about it when I woke up, and I almost thought he was kidding. I always thought he’d be killed by an animal, but that it’d be doing somthing the rest of us would consider crazy. This was so ironic. I’ll miss him, and his spirited way of educating the world about animals. He was passionate and very intelligient.
A great loss. But he went doing what he loved.
I was absolutely stunned. It’s a great loss. Not everything he did impressed me, but I was very saddened to hear he had died. He brought conservation and animal welfare issues to people who would not normally listen, and for that alone he deserves respect. But yes, at least he died doing something he loved.
I watched one of Steves shows this morning and it was heartbreaking, knowing that he’s no longer with us.
