When I first came to Washington State, I took Meesh here to Snoqualmie, and we stayed at the Salish Lodge for a night. The lodge was everything and more. The Snoqualmie falls seen here are a Seriously breathtaking experience. There’s a way to hike down to the bottom, but we passed on that.

View from my window

It’s Twitterrific!
Ok, so I’m not sure how many of you have heard of what I call the Twitter craze. You’re probably thinking, “what the hell is twitter?” Well, basically it’s kinda like a way to let everyone know what you’re doing at the time. Kinda like a “mini-blog” if you will. I know, I know. It sounds crazy, because you already have a blog, you have enough things to post to. But that’s Really what it is. It’s like a “what am I doing right now” mini thing that you can update as often as you like without thinking “i’m posting junk stuff.”
Then there’s also the cool things that end up going along with Twitter. Things like Twitterrific which is a small free utility to keep track of all your twitters, as well as send new twitters in. I love it. I don’t have to go to the main website to know what my friends are talking about and such. This program is for Mac OS X only though. I’m not sure what the Windows equivalent is.
Then there’s the even cooler Twittervision. Using google and twitter technology together, you get the latest twitters around the world updated on this site. It’s Really cool and you have to see it! You almost get mesmerized by the number of twitters that are sent out there. Although I have yet to see my own twitter show up when I think it’ll show up.

Arby’s Without Roast Beef?
So we went to Arby’s the other day, and while looking at the drive-thru menu on what to get, the drive-thru attendant told us “Oh, by the way, we just ran out of roast beef. We were speechless. How does this happen at Arby’s? Aren’t they all about roast beef? I was considering a Market Fresh sandwich, like the Ultimate BLT (yum!) but, honestly, I wanted Arby’s because I wanted roast beef. So we said no thanks and left.
Blogging for money
I’ve been asked many times by many bloggers what I would do if I could make enough money off my blog alone. Well, first of all, obviously I’d blog. I’d also probably come up with a lot of interesting content as well. The question is, how would I make money off of my blog?

23. I have a super-power called “ i can make everyone hungry in 20 seconds.” Just by talking to me, most people seem to get hungry. It’s true. Ask Danalyn or Tiggerprr just to name a couple of people. I simply talk about food, and people get hungry. It’s amazing. I am only reminded of Spiderman, when I use my power:
“With great power comes great responsibility.”
I promise to use my power wisely. And will never to use it except for special circumstances. Or to just annoy the crap out of my friends. “Dude, stop making me hungry!”

photoHunt – Empty
A while back, I needed a storage solution for our pantry. So I bought this over the door shelving unit. Yes folks, it’s empty, but after I installed it, it filled up pretty quick. But I was surprised at how much more space we now have in our makeshift pantry. (perhaps more on that at another time – Just another house woe)
