When I first came to Washington State, I took Meesh here to Snoqualmie, and we stayed at the Salish Lodge for a night. The lodge was everything and more. The Snoqualmie falls seen here are a Seriously breathtaking experience. There’s a way to hike down to the bottom, but we passed on that.

wow. that’s a great shot. that angle really makes that waterfall feel so much more powerful and majestic! definitely breathtaking.. even in ‘photo form’ :-)
Breathtaking is right! That’s beautiful.
I *love* falls… something about them just gets me. So beautiful.
Thanks! That shot was taken from a small “observatory” just for seeing the waterfalls. really neat!
I wish I could say that if you looked at the hotel in the upper left, that was our room, but alas, no, the waterfall rooms were mucho expensive.
But the “Attic” which was a small restaurant inside the Lodge overlooked it. Very breathtaking.
I had to enlarge it to get a really good view but once I did it was well worth it! What a beautiful waterfall!
Yes, it’s very beautiful up there. :) I think we’ll have to take another trip up there this summer.
I used to live in The Dalles, OR, and I loved both Oregon and Washington! There are so many great falls there! Great photo, and I played too :-)
Yes, I’ll have to visit most if not all of them. :P Thanks for visiting!
Hey Yoshi! What beautiful falls.
Hey Rose, nice picture story on your photohunt. :P
Beautiful waterfall! :) Lovely! As you said, breathtaking!
I love waterfalls. They are so dramatic. We were on the same wavelength this week.
The falls itself almost looks like Rainbow Falls on the Big Island. Great phot!
This is a gorgeous waterfall. I would love to someday see the great waterfalls of Africa… but they would hold the same beauty as this one. Great idea for the theme.
Thank you all! I loved that area! :)
So beautiful! Nice shot, I enjoyed seeing it today.
A breathtaking photo of a very beautiful place. Extremely well done. Thank you for sharing that with us.
I made it bigger, and no way I’d try to hike to the bottom of the falls, either!
Very pretty!
wow. what a gorgeous place to see the world go by! That hike to the bottom, not so much! My photos are up, please come and visit soon
I love waterfalls. Too bad the rooms were too expensive on the falls side of the lodge. Looks like a very beautiful place to visit. Have a nice weekend.
Waterfalls – they bring a sense of peace in their rush.
That must be quite a hike to the bottom: STRAIGHT down! What a beautiful area!
