Well folks, the end of Harry Potter, is just about here. I’ve received notification from Amazon.com and I’ve checked the UPS tracking, and lo behold it’s already in my neck of the woods as of 4:15am this morning. Which is to say, how many UPS workers who ordered the book from amazon have already read and leaked it out a day early on the internet? seriously. That goes for bookstores too.
So, any of you faithful readers have any theories of what the end will be like?
Jess has put together some Harry Potter spoilers that are… not exactly true… but very funny! You can even contribute your own Harry Potter ending in the comments there too!
Ladonna put together a list of Harry Potter predictions in her Thursday Thirteen Harry Potter Edition. Some very interesting ideas there. You should probably check it out if you haven’t already!
Those are the only sites I’ve thought to look at spoilers for. Because you know I don’t want to really ruin my experience of reading the book.
I think I’ll even resist the temptation to read the last page of the book first when I get it! seriously!

Resist, Yoshi! Resist! (;
I think she should kill him. It totally goes against the hero’s journey genre she’s been writing, but – damn, it’d be good. (;
Nooooooooo! She can’t kill him! That would be bad :( I want him to live and have little babies with Ginny!
Whilst I think killing Harry would sure break out of her genre mould, it isn’t something I would want to happen! I get involved enough in books like this, without the hero dying at the end. I’m going to be sobbing bucket loads already!
Yeah, I want him to live and for He must Not be named to die. :-) a most painful death too :-) and loads of lil Ginny and Harry babies. When they’re old and married n stuff :-)
Nooooo…no Ginny and Harry babies. I’m going to be a little disappointed if she does that. Too predictable. I guess we’ll see later today.
So, Yoshi…are you giving in and buying one at midnight or waiting patiently for your book to arrive in the mail?
Oh, I don’t know. I’m not sure its overly predictable. If Ron & Hermione got together and had millions of kid, that would be predictable. But, for some reason, I doubt that will happen.
I take it back, its so predictable its bound to happen.
Oh dear lord, I hope that doesn’t happen eliza! :P
and as you might guess from this post I did not go buy the book ladonna. I didn’t want to read it that badly.
Seriously the real question is will I read the last page first? I think I’d be trying hard not to!
I’m afraid so. I have this awful feeling that the epilogue is going to be a story about Ginny & Harry / Hermione & Ron, and their multitudes of red headed brats…
Consider yourself forewarned.
Ugh. Now I want that book to be here now. LOL I guess it’s still too early for it to be here. I just UPS doesn’t lose my book. LOL
zomg. Zillions of Weasleys! Ready to torment the Malfoys! HA! *dies*
Well lets face it, if their are zillions of ickle Weasleys, there is bound to be a Malfoy Junior or two…
Well if lil Malfoy really IS a death eater, maybe he’ll bite it in the big battle. He’s such a tosser, and and only child ;-)
Aww, I like ickle Malfoy. He is so deliciously bratlike and arrogant, my sort of character.
I liked him. He was the guy you hated because he was a spoiled brat. (; I mean, how can you have a story without someone to hate? (;
