Remember that podcast idea? Part 2

Ok, so I’ve gotten some great responses. If you’re interested, I’m still taking anyone who would like to contribute. We don’t have to be on every show, although I guess since it’s my idea to do this, I would have to be on the show every time. But that’s besides the point, for now, I’m taking in suggestions on what to call the show.

Pandora has suggested “WebCynic” which I like, it sounds about right, since “we’ll be talking about everything on the web and we are all cynics after all” to quote Pandora. Good idea! If you have any suggestions or ideas, I could put it to the poll and see what happens!

Remember, the podcast is pretty much just a fun time discussing “stuff”, what’s hot, what’s not, and so on. I want to do a “guest host” spot too, where listeners get the chance to come on and join us with whatever discussions we might be having.

So whaddya think?

Do you recall that podcast?

Some people, though not many I’m sure might remember that a while ago, I wanted to put together some kind of a podcast.

Well, no one seemed interested, so I let it fall into the void I like to call the shelf. I shelved the idea, and while I have thought about reviving it a few times, people just seemed to fight the idea of doing one with me. I guess the idea that I wanted to do a podcast where you just talk about “stuff” was very crazy and for loss of a better word, “stupid”. I have to wonder though, what’s wrong with making a podcast without a subject, and basing it on personality alone? Am I that boring that the show will suck that much? Well, maybe I am, who knows, but I’d like to think that I have opinions that matter even a little bit!

So here I am asking if anyone would like to start up a podcast. Here’s the idea, we just talk about “stuff”. It could be what’s on the menu this week, or maybe it’s current events this week, or perhaps it’s about why the internet is so slow. I want to have segments about news, listener mail, etc. Eventually I’d love to get a way to make it “live” and have people call in.

Do you have the courage to try something like this with me? Do *I* have the courage? Well we’ll have to see.

More than meets the eye

So yesterday, we finally went to go see Transformers. I have to say I was Totally entertained. I won’t talk about any spoilers, just in case you haven’t seen the movie, but if you haven’t, then I think you Really should check it out.

It’s got all the makings of a great movie, the storyline was pretty good, Shia LaBeouf did a Really great job, and Optimus Prime… well he was pretty perfect. There were a few scenes that were just “omg that was cool” and there were a few scenes that were pretty funny. I’ll just say that the scene when the Autobots first came to Sam Witwicky’s (Shia LaBeouf) house was Totally classic. I don’t think I could stop laughing that was so funny.

I’ll give this movie an A- only because they didn’t Really show enough of a storyline for the Decepticons. You gotta check this movie out.
