Tuesday Tunes #3

It was a pretty busy weekend of doing nothing. Actually Saturday involved an all day BBQ for a friend’s birthday celebration at a local park. That was quite a bit of fun. it also involved a lot of frisbee throwing and discussing some Disc Golf. But who knew there could be so much fun to be had playing with frisbee’s. The rest of the weekend was spend just resting from everything. Since Meesh had just come home from a 2 week fire duty, she Really needed the rest and sleep. Who knew that working 14 days in a row could stress you out so much.

This week, because I heard this song somewhere this week, I chose Tchaikovsky’s Dance of the Sugar Plum Fariy. If you know you’ve heard this before and not sure where, it’s from The Nutcracker. Yes, I realize this is normally associated with music, but I heard it recently, and it just stuck in my head. Besides, I Really like it.

  1. When it comes to classical music this is definitely one of my favourite. Thanks! Even though I never chose to listen to this type of music before I really enjoyed it!

  2. I tried the Frisbee golf once.  I got frustrated so I just started bitching at my boyfriend at the time.  He uhm, took me home.  LOL

And of COURSE working 14 days straight makes a person cranky and tired.  I worked for oh…….I think it was 73 days straight at the beginning of the year.  12 hours a day, sometimes more…I don’t recommend it.  I was nearly insane by the end.  No lie.  Ready to go postal.

  3. Tchaikovsky rocks.  I think out of all the classical music out there, that’s the only one I can listen too hehe
