Ok, so once again, I’m back into pownce. You’ll notice the pownce area on the sidebar to the right.

Pownce is really good for Micro-blogging. I like it a slightly bit more than Twitter only because it has built in support for links, music files, video files, and so on. It’s kinda like twitter on steroids.

This is not to say that twitter does not have it’s advantages. Twitter works with cellphones via text message, where pownce doesn’t natively support it. But honestly, I don’t think pownce needs that. Pownce is just a different kind of micro-blogging tool.

So, who knows how long I’ll be using it. But you’ll get to see 3 updates from pownce and twitter for a while on my sidebar.

Mythbusters Jamie Hyneman speaks out on 7 Tech Headaches and How to Fix Them.

Did I hear it correctly? Did Jamie just endorse Linux Ubuntu over Windows? Now I definitely know he is cool. And somehow it’s not surprising that Adam Savage has all kinds of gadgets, including the “iPipewrench”.

This article is a pretty good read. What he talks about makes sense, such as universal power packs for powertools, and how cellphones, no matter how many cool things they have in it, should just work as a cellphone.

I’ve decided to open up a new site, called My WoW Life, which is basically a site where the players write about their days in the World of Warcraft.

I just thought it would be a fun exercise in writing, and also a way to just spread entertaining stories. If you play and would like to participate, then please let me know, it could get interesting, you never know.

Ok, perhaps some of you heard about the snowstorm that hit the western states from “Washington to Arizona”. Yeah, ok, sure, there was some snow for us here in Olympia, but it’s gone now. Sure, it snowed last night, but it also rained after that. What’s up with that? Where’s the snow for us in the South Sound?

Now, I’m not saying that I want to have my power taken out and for us to be freezing, but you know, I want to see some kind of snow! They said there would be about 3″ of snow. But nope. Not even a layer of snow. Just rain. Ugh.

Snow already, that is all.

Yeah I decided to use a different theme for a couple reasons:

1. I’m bored of the old one. Yeah, this happens pretty fast for me.
2. I want to make my own design. Yeah, this happens a lot to me.
3. The other theme was slow. I managed to speed it up some, but eventually, I thought it was too slow. Thanks to Pandora for pointing it out.

Ok, so demanding aren’t I? But it’s true, I’m getting bored of the internet. It’s just boring me and is so not inspring. I don’t know how many times in the past few months I’ve just decided to shut down all my online sites and just “disappear” from the net.

So, inspire me. Tell me what’s cool, what’s new. Tell me what I should be doing online!

So as of late (since yesterday I mean), I’ve been hanging out at the USN – Together We Served website. What is this site? It’s a place for US Navy veterans (like me) and active duty to keep in touch with their shipmates. It’s great. I’ve found a few people with whom I’ve simply just lost touch with. It’s great. I’ve been looking for a few people and have found some of them.

Unfortunately, I can’t find everyone, since they haven’t signed up for the site. I just have to find them another way I suppose.

If you’re in the Navy, then you should check this out. If you were in any other armed forces, they do have sister sites for Marines and the Air Force. I know quite a few people in both the Marines (being a corpsman and all) and the Air Force (ex-AF brat), so I wish there was a way for me to add those people to “my shipmates” list.
