I’m getting there with these facts. It’s tough coming up with 100 facts about yourself. Luckily I didn’t say 100 days in a row.
30. I might have mentioned this before, but I’ll try any food at least once. If it’s served to me, and I know I haven’t eaten it before and hated it, I’ll eat it. Sure. But I’m a hypocrite. Because there are certain foods I KNOW I will not care for, therefore won’t even try it.
One of those foods is cow tongue. I know, I know, there are a lot of you out there who think it’s awesome, and so good. No. No no no NO. I will not eat that. There is only one tongue in my mouth and no other tongues are allowed to be in my mouth to be eaten. That is just plain gross. If you’re gonna feed it to me, it better be hard to distinguish because I’ll know it’s not something I normally eat.
Oh yeah, another one? Rocky Mountain Oysters. Oh hell no!
What foods would you never ever eat?

Reminds me of the cow brain my parents use to make me eat when I was a kid.
anything that has the texture of ‘thick and chewy’.
Fish that smells or tastes ‘fishy’. I know – it’s supposed to but that’s why I don’t like fish much unless it comes out of a box in the freezer and is covered in breadcrumbs.
Nice blog by the way – a refreshing change from Mom blogs can I say. Not that Mom blogs aren’t good reads sometimes but I kind of like male humour better.
Thick and chewy ok if lean steak etc – NOT squid or gristley(sp?)meat.
This comes from having a meal at a friends house and being so well brought up that I didn’t know what to do with a large lump of fatty gristle I found myself chewing. Felt like an hour before I finally managed to swallow it – eyes watering and stomach churning!
Just can’t do it now.
