Writer’s Choice: What is up with New Line making near a billion dollars for The Lord of the Rings trilogy, yet Tolkein’s estate getting well under a total of one hundred thousand? That’s just not fair at all. As a result, Tolkein’s estate may pull rights to the Hobbit movie.
This makes me sad and angry. The greed from the movie industry is turning me off altogether towards anything Hollywood can produce…almost.
