Perhaps you don’t follow the same circles I do, or care about the old school Role Playing Games (RPG’s), so you might not have heard that Gary Gygax, Dungeons & Dragons creator, died. While a lot of you are thinking, “who?” I am struck with a bit of anguish. I remember as a kid playing this game. I loved it, and instantly fell in love.
I remember the original softcover Dungeon & Dragon Manuals, of which if I recall correctly, there was only 2, the Dungeon Master’s guide and the Player’s manual.
Gary Gygax was also known as the father of the RPG, and I have to admit that his ideas influenced many games today, even the video games of which you know of.
It’s a sad loss to the RPG Community.

Oh noes! :(
I don't know him by name, but it is indeed a tragic loss for the RPG world.
it was sad to hear that.
oh and about text-link-ads…all i know is that for my "blogx" site it makes roughly $20 a month, but then again…the internet is a vast mysterious place.
That's sad even though I didn't know him.
that's sad! :(
That is horrible. I pretty much grew up with Gary Gygax's name plastered on half the books in my room.
