Here is a “different” view of the St. Louis Arch. I took this at the base of the Arch, by the entrance to get on the elevators to go up into the Arch. Yes, you can actually go to the top. But I warn you, it’s not for the claustrophobic or for the light hearted.

and i am afraid of the heights. nice shot!
Neat!!! But I’m one with ‘vertigo’ sensations, so I’d be the weak ones keeping my feet firmly on the ground.
My Photo Hunt Different is shared, I hope, if you haven’t already, you can drop by and pay a visit. Happy weekend.
great photo, I would not know what it was
That is a ver different angle. I like taking photos from different angles.
Its different indeed. Happy hunting.
That’s a pretty cool shot, Yoshi. I’ve been to see the arch, but it wasn’t open for the elevator up at the time. It’s hard to shoot without a fairly wide angle – what did you use?
The photo is awesome :) – I love to look at photos with a different angles. Thank you so much for sharing your take on this week’s hunt theme.
Have a great weekend.
Not for me then being both claustrophobic and disliking heights!
Bonjour greetings from France,! thanks for welcoming me and for visiting my blog.
BTW,you’ve got a nice shot here,it’s nice to see different angles of a thing.
I’m looking forward for more photohunts!Have a nice weekend!
Thanks for visiting my PhotoHunt entry.
I’ve always loved going up high on towers, buildings, etc. but if I stood under that and tried to look straight up, I’d probably lose my balance. Better for me to have a firm grip on a railing. Great photo!
cool looking pics. love it..nice choice for the week’s theme..anywa, mine is here

A very interesting (& different) perspective. I’ll take a pass on going to the top. Not enough Zanex on the planet!
If I get 2 options, I’ll definitely not try the route you’ve shown
That was a great shot and the angel is different indeed. Have a great week.
A total unique and different view. Must been a heck of finding that angle for shooting. Love it.
Funny how a different angle can make an easily recognizable structure so unfamiliar. Beautiful shot.
I remember that day. I thought it was weird you pressing yourself against the side of The Arch taking pictures up one leg. That is until I saw the photo. It did come out great.
