For those of you who didn’t know, Eddie Izzard is going on tour again, and tickets are on sale March 16, 2008. This one is the Stripped Tour. I don’t know about you folk, but I’m pretty excited, and will have to drag Meesh to go see him.
For those of you who don’t know who Eddie Izzard is, you might know him from playing the role of Wayne Malloy of The Riches. I have to admit I don’t watch the show. I didn’t really get into it. I’m sure it’s a great show, but I love to see Eddie doing stand up instead of acting.
If you didn’t know, he’s also a transvestite, the cross dressing comedian. He claims to be an “executive” transvestite, because there’s absolutely a difference between him and the “weirdo” transvestites. If you don’t find this funny, you’ll just have to check out the video after the bump. Be careful, the video should not fall upon young ears, and may not be safe for work due to cursing.

I can’t decide if I like him… Saw bits of a show of his once. Funny, but I didn’t find it “lol funny”.
Which stand ups did you see? You should see Dressed to Kill, or Glamourous. Dressed to kill was probably his best. Sexie wasn’t so hot, but still funny.
I am a huge fan of The Riches. I had no idea until about half way through the season that he was a transvestite. He was actually on a cable show or something. I read the title and said to myself “isn’t that they guy on my favorite show”. I turned it on and said “nope, but how weird that they have the same name.” Haha, someone told me (maybe it was you) that is was indeed him.
He is my ALL TIME favorite. He’s BRILLIANT! In an “executive transvestite” kind of way.

I already have tickets. He’s doing a much broader tour than he ever has before so it’s more likely he’ll be coming near you than previous tours. I can’t wait.
So my choice is “or death”? In that case, I’ll have the chicken.

I LOVE, LOVE Eddie. I’ve seen him live and it is definitely worth a go. He’s smart and witty and the fact that he was strutting around, flaunting his new, improved fake breasts while talking like a sailor was Hot.
Shoot! Just looked and he’ll be in SF while i’m in England/Ireland. NOOOO!
I will have to watch when I get home. I’m stuck at work for another 3 hours. I think I know who he is and if I am remembering correctly, he is quite hilarious.
