Photohunt : Metal

For this weeks theme, I thought I’d go ahead and include the biggest chunk of metal I’ve ever seen, the Statue of Liberty. This day had to be the busiest day ever. We went on New Year’s Eve weekend, and believe me, I felt like everyone was there with us. We had a good long walk from the parking lot, but we managed. It was a big day of fun. I’ve never been on the ferry to go see lady liberty. The most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a long time.

  1. Awesome photo. I have never been to New York – but maybe one day I will see the lady Liberty with my own eyes.

Thank you so much for sharing – have a great weekend.

  2. A magnificent piece. Good choice for metal. I have a metal sculpture on a much smaller scale, but the residents of its town are proud of it.

  3. what an excellent entry, could be a winner. my original photo post had some old farming iron and other farmhouse items, I added a second entry because of something I saw while visiting other photo hunts, please stop by both, happy easter
