So lately, I’ve been struggling with trying to think of a redesign. I know that Melanie has been doing the same and she showed me a preview of it and I Really like it. Right now I’ve got the logo in my head and I know what I want it to look like. I might have to design around it. But that’s not Really the problem. The problem is mainly the rest of the design. I’m just tired of the entire look of blogs.
I just need something different. I’m just looking for some kind of inspiration I suppose. I’ve been looking at CSS Beauty and Unmatched Style and nothing’s Really hit me. I’ve seen some phenomenal sites there, but nothing’s tickling my fancy.
I think I just need to finalize my logo and start from there. If you’re Really curious and want to see you can preview the logo. Nothing fancy. It came about after a discussion with Danalyn.
So where do you go for inspiration for designing? I want to know!

I am hurt. It's always Danalyn this, Danalyn that. She burns people and eats crappy poptarts!
I liked it. But it just wasn't appropriate. LOL She does burn people, but I can't totally say they're crappy poptarts, because there's no such thing. but I do prefer the strawberry poptarts myself.
Haha, it was just a joke anyway. I never really expected you to use it and you know I love whats-her-name even though she likes those weird poptarts.
I like the logo but there's something about that font that makes me want to go "Ugh! Not THAT one again!". I've tried many times to make a logo for my blog without much success. My blog title is HUGE! It just won't work in a logo.
I'm looking to start changing parts of the template to match the masthead whenever I change it and I think it will work. As for inspiration going totally original might not work very well. I say look at existing themes that you like and only list what you like about them. Then try to make a template out of the things you really liked.
I like the preview..its very superstar! I have zero creativity when it comes to design for myself. I think I just get too sick of photoshop and can't open it up in my "free" time lol
I know nothing of designing web stuff. I just wanted to pipe up as the voice of the clueless. That is all :)
Oh and the logo looks nice..it reminds me of something I just don't know what yet…
@colin yeah, I'll probably not use that one. that logo i made was a "quickie" in photoshop since I really need to do it in illustrator. :D

What I do is i beg Rachel or Danalyn to make designs for me because i am muj teh suXXor at that kind of thing.
