I think that people that have to go through that process to get citizenship appreciate it a lot more than the average American. So many Americans take for granted the rights they enjoy as citizens. I know some of what that whole journey is like. My Wife is American and is going for Canadian Citizenship as soon as she is eligible for it so we've been filling and filing paperwork with the Gov for a while now. It's the same here, right now she has Permanent Resident status so the only things she can't do is enter into Politics/Government and Vote. Phooey on the Natural thing though, who wants to be natural? You should ask to be an Abnormal Citizen! Oh and the Passport thing..when my Wife got her Canuckian Passport they actually took her American one and destroyed it.
