Hard Rock tees

Hard Rock CafeAnyone that knows me knows that I’m a lover of t-shirts. Especially Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts. If I travel somewhere, I have to find out if there’s a Hard Rock there, and I have to buy a city specific tee. I don’t know why I do it, but I just have to. Believe me, it’s probably an OCD thing.

Anyways, I’ve managed to collect quite a few t-shirts from there. It’s a wonder that I’m not in the frequent buyer club. But honestly, it’s not like I travel that often. It’s usually every other year or so. So it doesn’t really pay to be part of that club.

I’ve collected shirts from a few places, but I’m missing a lot. It just means that I have to travel to all the cities that have Hard Rocks and just keep buying more. After talking about this to cybr, however, I came up with an idea.

I thought it would be kinda cool to do a t-shirt exchange. You buy me a HRC t-shirt from your local HRC, and I would buy you a t-shirt that is local to my area, namely, Seattle. How does this sound? What is everyone’s opinion on this?

Also if you have not entered for the Raffle for Lisa, then you need to! There are some really kick ass prizes! You see that banner in the upper right corner? That’s right kids, click on it to get information to donate to enter the raffle. Lisa is a two time ovarian cancer survivor, and we really need to support her right now so she becomes a three time survivor. Every penny counts! If you want more details, head on over to Miss Ann’s right now!

Wow, I was thinking of getting you one before you mentioned it halfway through your post. I have two locations it’s going to be hard for you to get to. More, over IM. ;)

Yoshi Says:

@colin hehe thanks :D

Colin Brooks Says:

And if everything I have planned for this summer so far goes as planned I will be able to get you even more. ;)

kate Says:

Have a SF tee yet? Happy to send you one!

Yoshi Says:

@colin whoa. cool.

@kate oooh yeah I haven’t been to that one!

I still have to figure out what to get you guys! So don’t be buying anything just yet! LOL

Sparky Duck Says:

I am in, except I have to figure out where we have an HRC in Philly

Abraxus Says:

What’s a “Hard Rock Cafe”? =P We don’t have one of those up here but it sounds like an excellent idea :)

cybrpunk Says:

We’ll try and get you a Hong Kong HRC shirt.

Yoshi Says:

@sparky hmm. is there one in philly? I’d imagine there should be. I know there’s on in NYC.

@abraxus hmm You’d think they’d have one up there! But they don’t have one in Seattle either, so… go figure.

@cybrpunk sweet! i forgot they have one in HK!

the other yoshi! Says:

the closest one to philly would prolly be the one in pittsburgh. but that’s just a guess.

you know i’ve never been to the one in “hollywood?” it’s actually in universal city but that doesn’t look as cool on a tshirt. the last time i was at a hard rock around los angeles was probably 1988?

anyway, if you want a shirt, let me know. it’s not that far of a drive…and we’ll try to get one while we’re in mexico city in june.

Colin Brooks Says:

Holy flying fart! There’s more than one Yoshi?! I think my brain just got corrupted a bit. The data is all, messed up!

Yoshi Says:

@yoshi I think you’re right about Pitt being the closest to Philly. Well it’s crazy because I lived in Redlands for 1.5 years and I never got anything from hollywood myself. And been to TJ’s HRC, as well as La Jolla’s HRC. LOL nothing from there either. lol crazy.

@colin yes. Yoshi is my female counterpart. LOL
