My macbook has issues, and has since the day I got it, but the nearest Apple store is about an hour away and crammed with people at all times, so I doubt one could even be heard in that environment. I have called tech support and done everything short of wiping the hard drive and starting over with them, but the problem won't go away and they won't do anything about it until I wipe the hard drive and start over, to prove that it is not a software issue. I can't do that because I have nowhere to back up all of the stuff I have on there. I suppose I could get most of it burned to DVD, but damn, what a pain. And I have a feeling it won't fix the problem anyway, so I just try to live with it. Ho hum. I hate computer problems. Glad that you got your macbook working again.

But you're lucky. I am afraid of calling them about a small issue with my iMac because if they ask me to bring it in I'll have to hire someone with big muscles to carry it to London! It's huge and I can't carry it all the way there. My arms will be paralysed before I get there and I'll have to leave it behind at some tube station and save myself... I'm glad to hear everything's okay now. You were lucky it only took you this long t have it fixed.
