Ok, so the other night I had the scariest nightmare. I was somehow in some type of race, going somewhere, probably something like Cannonball Run or whatever, and we were all stopped in this one city. There was a top secret military base there, who knows what branch, but it looked like Air Force. I’m starting to forget this nightmare, so the details are kinda hazy at this point.
I remember having to navigate a series of rooms, kinda like a video game. (I obviously play too many videogames) I then realized, I had discovered a deep secret of which I cannot remember, and I had to get out as soon as possible. As soon as I tried to rush out of the building, I was being chased by a tall bald man, very calm and very collected insisting that I come with him. He sprayed something into my eyes, and while it seemed like I was blinded, I wasn’t, and I kept running. I started to feel weak, probably an effect of whatever was sprayed into my eyes. I swung a long stick at the man, but he laughed and easily avoided me. I was obviously drugged and weak. My vision became blurrier and blurrier, until finally I blacked out.
Then I woke up.
Pretty crazy eh? I should use this in a story. I’ve probably been reading too much Dean Koontz.
Got any scary or crazy dreams you wanna share?

That does sound a bit like Dean Koontz.
My nightmares usually involve speed of strangulation. I have a big issue with things touching my throat to the point where it is hard for me to wear any shirts other than v-necks.
Usually my nightmare involves something touching my throat, usually skeletal hands OR something that I need to do very quickly but I can't seem to move fast enough to do it.
Few weeks back I had a nightmare where I was running around with a gun trying to shoot a bunch of things that were shooting back at me. I was managing to dodge and roll my way all over the place but every time I came up ready to fire the bullets would come out of the gun at about 1/5th the speed they should making it impossible for me to hit anything. As time went on I became more and more frantic as my ability to dodge got weaker and weaker until I got hit once and then I woke up.
I've been seeing a lot of weird dreams lately some of them being nightmares which is not helping my insomnia…
The last I can remember was I joked with the father of a friend that her and I would get married. Only he didn't get the joke. A few days later I received the wedding invitations of the wedding he had planned. There was no way I could get out of it (I can't remember why). I almost screamed when I woke up…
I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I don't dream at all. I can't remember a single one.
@cybrpunk Yeah, doesn't it?
@abraxus that totally sounds nightmarish. I'd hate to be strangled too, but have to admit it doesn't seem as bad as if someone put a plastic bag over my head. call me crazy.
@colin wow that is pretty nightmarish sounding to me for sure! it was a joke!
@kailani usually it just means you're not really getting any good sleep I think. Tiggerprr would probably know more since she went to a real sleep study unlike myself. But from what I understand you dream many times a night and forget a lot of them. the only ones you remember are the ones where you just wake up during REM sleep. To help remember your dreams it's usually a good thing to keep a dream diary and write down everything you can remember right after waking up.
I agree. Sounds like you are a character in a thriller novel.
@daddy forever Yeah, sometimes I scare myself. I should write down a lot of the ideas I get in Nightmares, I might become a great horror novelist someday. LOL
