Many months ago the Post Office launched a campaign to inspire and encourage people to write letters under the auspice of bringing back the personal touch.
Stamps here are even more expensive than they are for you folks so it sort of fell on deaf ears.
What they need to do is come up with a way to pre-pay for snail mail so all you have to do is write it, address it and drop it in the mailbox. Then you pay Monthly or something like the internet. I think more people would do that in this day and age.
@mr. Fab lucky! Actually now that I think about it, I haven’t sent anything via snail mail in a while…
@abraxus that’s an awesome idea to pay a flat fee. or somehow make the postage meters cheap enough for everyone to have one. then you just stamp your envelope and that’s that and pay for what you send. hmm there are plenty of solutions here.
@katie LOL no doubt!
@daddy forever wow. annual thing? that’s true it changed last may too. ugh. that’s ridiculous.
No more stamps for me. I pay everything over the phone and online.
Viva la Revolution!

Damn the post office!
It’s an annual thing now. Seems like a waste of money to change the design for a one cent increase.
