You can go a long long way on the PvE Elements before you ever need to enter the PvP area though. They encourage PvP beceause it's "In the Spirit" of Conan. You know...where death lurks down every shadowed alleyway. That sort of thing.

And blast you for talking about WoW. I gave it up a year ago and now I am almost waffling on getting back into it.

I have a Dell XPS M1710 laptop with a 512MB video card and you know what? It's still a laptop and it's still exponentially slower than a desktop.

Oh and with AoC, did you know that it's PvE only for the leveling (training as I understood it) and then it's all PvP afterwards? You may want to check out some reviews of the whole game before you jump in. I'd rather play Guildwars since there's no monthly fee and it seems a little similar.

I know what it's like. Recovery takes a while when it's something serious. If it was just a common scrape or a bruise then it'd be different but you had an operation which required anaesthesia and that's pretty hardcore.

Of course you have a younger face now so it was worth it.

It's hard to use laptops for gaming. Unless you buy a mad laptop with crazy specs like the ones from Alienware.
