Sydney was both an Actor and Director. Out of Africa & Tootsie were some of his more famous works from back in the day. More recently he had some Guest shots on The Soprano's as Warren Feldman. He was quite the mover and shaker in Hollywood though and had his hand in many popular films over the years between his Directing and his Production Company which is called Mirage...something...the full name eludes me at the moment. The older we get the more people that we grew up with die off. Although I have to be honest: I know the name Sydney Pollack but I have no idea who he is.
