So after a short bit of time in the inpatient rehab center, I’m now home. People may debate that I will do the same thing as in the hospital, i.e. sit around a lot, but let me tell you, it’s not quite the same. I’m in my own home, with my own stuff. It’s not quite the same. So now I’m totally happy that I’m home. Thank goodness for small miracles.

hi, yoshi. i am sorry to hear this. i feel for you. i feel sad and happy at the same time. sad because i know it’s not an easy struggle to deal with stroke. happy because you survived and you seem to be vibrant still, and fighting.
my hubby is also a physically challenged man, paralyzed by stroke, left part of the body. got it when he was 23. married him when he was 25 and i was 24. he had just graduated from college a year ago. we have two wonderful kids.
life’s not easy but we have each other. and we have our kids.
my prayers for you.
Wow, how surreal that we both ended up in the hospital the same week (though your stroke is way more scary that my gall bladder). Thank you, cat!
The view from your room was waaay better than mine. I got to look at the hospital rooftop, I-225 and a Circuit City.
So glad you’re doing much better and are home. My thoughts are with you guys. Get well, dangit!
Seriously… you need to keep posting so we know you’re alive still.
