Since I like to make things into lists here is what we’ve (and by we I mean Meesh and I) been up to:
- We saw Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D. It was pretty good, I’d love to check out the IMAX version.
- We saw Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Yeah it was OK. Nothing major really. I think they could have left it at the Scorpion King. I mean it was like watching Temple of Doom. Yeah that horrible. It was a shame to have Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh in it.
- I’m finally driving again. It feels really weird, especially since I haven’t really driven in almost a month. I guess it would also be weird since I’m “different” in strength.
- We’re going to a wedding this weekend. Should be lots of fun. :D If they have alcohol maybe I’ll even have a drink.
- Rehab is ongoing. Probably for the rest of my life, since it’s gotta be part of my daily routine. It’s pretty horrible having to stick to something so strict.
I think that’s it for now. I’m still alive and doing well, doing great for someone who had a stroke. Now all that’s left is whether I am a candidate for a kidney transplant. Since I’m working at about 40%, I’m pretty sure I can use one. If you wanna be a donor, I warn you, you’d have to come here and do a lot of things and even then it’s not that simple.

Glad to hear you’re recovering well.
Sounds like a Brendan Fraser weekend
Glad to hear you are up and about again. I guess if things have changed in your body it would be weird driving again. My body is still the same but I know it’d be weird for me to drive again since I haven’t in years. I miss driving!
Wow, a kidney transplant, that’s huge.
ugh although I am sorry about the failing kidney I am happy to hear you are recovering from the stroke nicely. Keep driving..just not to BK!!! lol
I’m glad to hear that you are recovering. I’d give you a kidney, but I don’t know if they take kidney’s from pregnant women. ;)
Rehab is a bitch … but those exercises they make you do really do help. Hang in there.
If it keeps you mobile then just be happy something is available to do that for you… ya know?
I am still just very thankful your kitty saved your life.
