First Thanksgiving on my own, and we all got through it.

This is my obligatory Happy Thanksgiving post, since, everyone is doing it. I figure I’d take the time out of making food (ok, we only got mashed potatoes and cranberries) and make this post. I see a lot of other folks are wishing thanksgiving, like here, here, here, here, here, here, and so on. Those are just ones I’ve just seen on my news reader as of now.

I also want to remind everyone that it is Free for all Friday (FFAF) tomorrow, and Danalyn has opened up her blog for FFAF posts. So go on over there and make a post on her blog, she’ll appreciate it, I know.

Also, don’t forget to visit the Freaky Japan site which we created. I’m sure you’ll have some good laughs, I promise!

Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of Final Fantays X-2 music. Maybe the music just sets my body to ease, perhaps it reminds me of the game and how much I loved playing it. It’s almost a shame that I finished it, although I didn’t get 100% of the things to do in it. But honestly, can you Really finish a game 100%? Don’t answer that. Anyways I wanted to take the time to announce a new website, Freaky Japan at http://freakyjapan.wordpress.com. It’s all about the freaky stuff in Japan. As you can imagine, we just don’t ever have an ending to content. Right now, we’ve got a few writers for it, including these two jokers, and me of course. You should check it out!

Think of the solution, not the problem

I remember many years ago, I started reading this book, called Wizard’s First Rule. I instantly fell in love with it. I loved the story, I was Totally immersed. I instantly fell in love with the characters, and the storyline. I loved almost everything about it. It was sad, it was happy, it was just exciting. So I picked up the next book, and so on and so on. Terry Goodkind, the author of the Sword of Truth series (starting with WFR), finally ended the series this year. The last few books were not quite as gripping or sensational, and frankly, I felt that they ended too soon. Almost as if Mr. Goodkind wanted to just end it already and probably pursue other things.

So when I heard they doing a tv show about the books, I was ecstatic. I enjoyed the speculation of who was going to be what role, and so on and so on. And thusly, Legend of the Seeker was born.

Now, after the bump, there are spoilers. There are spoilers for both the TV show and the books. So if you don’t want to be spoiled, don’t follow. If you don’t Really care, then proceed.

Once again, the title has nothing to do with the post, however, it’s definitely one from one of my favories movies of all time.

More importantly, I had to make a post here to move my hijacked post down from the top. obviously it’s no longer my birthday. And thanks to everyone who came by to wish me a happy birthday, you guys are awesome!

There’s not much to say except right now, since 11/13, they’ve release the new expansion for World of Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King, and we’ve been playing wow for a while. So please, leave a message at the beep!

Obligatory birthday hijack post

Danalyn here hijacking Yoshi’s blog, yet again, to wish him a happy birthday.

Many of you may not know this, but Yoshi is old.  I mean, Really old.  It’s that damn asian blood keeps him looking young and spry at the over-ripe old age of 61.  That’s right, folks, Yoshi turns 61 today.

Who knew, right?

So, please leave tons of comments to blow up his inbox today!  Tell him how young he looks for his age!

I touch the fire and it freezes me

Ok, so it’s late, and I can’t sleep. Instead I sit at this computer wondering what I could do. Insomnia is a killer, I tell you. Hopefully the doctor comes up with something. I’m sure it will require the use of some drugs. I heard him mention Ambien. I wonder how that will work with me. I asked him about my blood pressure, and he first started out with this cheery tidbit. That many diabetics go throughout life without any complications, any issues, and that’s that. Then there are those where everything that could go wrong with having diabetes go wrong. Call it malignant diabetes if you will. That’s what I have. He tells me I’m unfortunate, I just call it Karma. I must have been a Really bad person in a prior life. Then he proceeds to tell me that I have what’s called resistant hypertension. It’s a real term, honestly.

So yeah, my health is pretty much crazy right now. And you know what, that’s Really only the beginning. There’s so much going on, I’ve got information overload right now. And honestly, these post titles are turning out to be coincidentally about fire. Seriously! If you’re not sure what the title post is from, it’s from a musical episode (the only musical episode) of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (Once more with feeling)

Oh and I’m still trying to figure out this song!

It seems that I’ve chosen the fire thing as a theme lately trust me, this is not intentional.

As is usual, the title has nothing Really to do with this post. Perhaps if there is a message, please cherish everything you have in life, and by god, all the little things make up all the big things. Cherish them all.

The other day, I was talking to Danalyn, as usual, and of course, she was working because she just works too much. Therefore I had to do her a favor and show her a pretty fun video. What it started out as was all the weird shit the Japanese people do on tv. There are other videos I found that I won’t link here because, eww, they were weird. I think I will never be the same again after watching those. And I don’t plan on it again. But there’s this one Japanese Celebrity who Totally kills me, known as “Razor Ramon“. You can probably take a look at the wikipedia page I just linked, but honestly, you just can’t see how funny he is until you actually see him in action. Video after the bump. Hoooooooooo!!!

WordPress 2.7 Beta 2 Available

You can now download WordPress 2.7 beta 2. Here are just some fixes, visit the site to find more. You can also update your beta 1 via tools -> update as well. But it might not work so be prepared to download it manually.

* The Upload button didn’t always show. Fixed.

* JS on the Dashboard broke for blogs with no comments, causing several UI elements to “freeze”. Fixed.

* Recent Drafts Dashboard module didn’t show correct times. Fixed.

* Various Autosave fixes.

No I promise you that the title of this post has nothing to do with anything political or this post whatsoever. It just happens to be a quote I like from one of my favourite movies. See if you can guess who said and what movie it’s from. If you get it right you’ll get my eternal respect. Don’t cheat now.

So, while surfing the net, I came across this interesting thing, 18 shirts you should NOT wear to meet your girlfriends parents. I’ve got some good t-shirts, but these are definitely not the type to wear to meet the parents. I don’t think even I would wear those to Meesh’s parents house now. LOL There are a few t-shirts I’d like to have for myself, however: warcraft t-shirts (thanks cybr) and this one (thanks jules).

I think I’ve managed to link pimp quite enough of people today.

So anyways, once in a while I like to throw this one unknown song thing out there because someone might know what it is. It’s been on one of my mix tapes since the 90′s (more like the 80′s) and I just can’t remember where I got it. It Really frustrates me and makes me angry, because I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. So please if you recognize this song and know what it is, please please please let me know what it is.

As for the title of this post, if you saw the most recent Hulk movie with Ed Norton, you’ll understand.
