It's raining, it's pouring!

Ok so for the past few days, it’s been what seems to me like non-stop raining. But this is good, because now the snow is melting away and like normal, we are not stuck inside the house. Unfortunately, because of all the rain and all the melting snow, we are on flood watch. Go figure, we cannot win. Crazy.

In other news, it’s been real quiet around here, since I’m recuperating from this tube thingie sticking out of my belly, and Meesh is just relaxing from all the stress of taking care of me. I’m high maintenance you know! So nothing is Really going on, not surprisingly.

However, I did manage to write a few articles over at jCrap, so if you’re interested in reading my stuff, then go on over there!

Last minute edit: I thought I’d add a poll to this post too.

  1. I know what you mean! It started raining last night and our six feet of snow is melting. It's a slushy mess. We haven't hit flood status yet because it's going to turn back into snow tomorrow. It's been a crazy winter.

I'm sure you are not high maintenance. Meesh is a great woman and loves you alot. You would do the same for her!

  2. The snow is finally (almost completely) gone here! It hasn't been raining, though the weather guy says it is supposed to.

  3. We don't get the snow, and probably not the rain you get, but ocassionally we get those Hurricane things. Make sure your boat floats.

  4. We don't really do 'Rain' as such. We have some light showers here and there to keep the land from bursting into flames during the Summer but that's about as extreme as it gets. We're snow people up here. Eskimos and Igloo's I tell ya.

In other news…jCrap does not like me anymore Yoshi! It keeps telling me I am not logged in *sniffle*

  5. @melanie wow you're still getting snow? at least it's staying rain here, thank goodness. Of course meesh is awesome, but i'm still high maintenance. :p

@katie thank god the snow is almost gone there too! get ready for a visit soon, there's gonna be a book signing for the latest kim harrison book :P

@margaret you guys are in florida right? the last time we were in florida it was in orlando for our honeymoon at disney. omg it was totally raining and lightning. worst florida experience ever. LOL

@abraxus lol do you get that much more snow than we do here? I mean Canada is just over the border for me :P and i fixed jcrap if you didn't get my email already :P

  6. The effects of non-stop rain can be quite enjoyable for people in areas that get very little rain. The rain cleans up everything, leaves the air fresher, waters all plants, and provides quite a bit of variety to the day's activities. This predicament changes a bit in an area like yours that receives snow. In areas where snow doesn't arrive, rain replaces it as "different weather".

  7. @katie – lol yeah! should we go to panera again? maybe this time meesh will come with me. and you have to bring the boy with you. lol

@armen – yeah when it snows here, you'd think people forgot how to drive. :P
