I want to ride it where I like

bicycle_in_the_roadOk so the other day, we were driving down the road and these group of bicyclists were riding their bikes in the road. They were riding double wide and well to be honest, while they were in their “bike lane” in the road, they were still causing the traffic to be slow because many people had to go around them. This annoyed me. This prompted me to come up with a poll. Are bicycles allowed to be in the road in your area? Here in Washington where we live, bikes are essentially treated like cars, but they are also pedestrians. It all depends on the situation. Is this fair? What do you think? What are the laws like where you live?

Personally, I think bicyclists shouldn’t be in traffic at all. They can’t possibly go as fast as a car or a motorcycle, and well, it just seems to me that a pedestrian should not be in the middle of the road. I like the bike lanes, but honestly, I think they are a bit too close to the “normal” lanes. There should be a “buffer” zone, and while I know this is not practical, I cannot help but think it should be this way. Finally, riding “double wide” should be forbidden in the bike lane. There’s just no room!

Do you slurp when you eat ramen or somen?
