Ok, so one of the next movies I think I might either have to check out or possibly could miss is Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell. I’m a real big fan of the original show, and I Totally loved it. It just seems that they’re Really changing the story and I’m not sure how I feel about that just yet. It certainly looks Really funny and pretty good. But as we all know, looks can sometimes be deceiving, especially when it comes to Will Ferrell movies. Trailer video after the bump.

My understanding is that it is being done as a joke movie and not an homage or remake with comedy.
that's pretty sad, but it could be cool still. We'll have to see.
I am so over Will Farrell nowadays. When I see he is in a movie I no longer get excited, rather groan because he's stopped being funny a while back. Either that or the novelty with him has worn off.

Yeah, I had no desire to see the new Land of the Lost. The inclusion of Will Farrel lost me completely.
I did finally see the remake of Journey to the Center of the Earth with Brendan Fraser and it was good. It had one horribly blatant screw-up but otherwise it was a good reimagining.
