Ikemen Boogie

I always listen to music to cheer me up or to make me in a better mood. So I thought I’d share a song that always lifts me up and puts me in a good mood. It’s from a Japanese dorama called Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Ikemen Paradise). It’s a dorama where Horikita Maki poses as a boy to go to an all boys school. Similar to She’s the Man with Amanda Bynes. The song is called Ikemen Boogie.

Shiroi Haru

shiroi-haruSo this spring season of Japanese television, my choice of dorama is definitely Shiroi Haru with Abe Hiroshi. It’s a real touching story about a man who commits murder and goes to jail, so his girlfriend can get the money to cure her illness. In the end, he finds that she passed away instead and wondering what happened to his money, he finds out more than he probably cared to know. Without giving too much of the story away, this story is very touching. Although he did kill a man, Haruo (Abe Hiroshi) is not an evil man. He committed the murder out of need to help his girlfriend and sacrifice so she could find a better life. I’m really loving the story myself. It’s just incredible.
