U.S. Adds 4 Million Jobs But In St. Louis - Gotta love The Onion!
It seems Halloween has come awful early this year. It almost feels like I remember just celebrating Meesh‘s birthday in March. I guess time really does fly as you get older. How sad is that?
Meanwhile, we’re enjoying our iPhone 4S’s, they seem to be working fine. They are such upgrades to our old iPhone 3GS’s that we cannot complain I think. I haven’t found any issues with the battery, but Meesh might be having some issues herself. We’ll see if we can get those fixed.
Did you dress up for Halloween this year? I admit, I did not. Meesh got a ghost headband thing, and she is wearing her Skeleton earrings. I love those. They glow in the dark too! Or they’re supposed to at least. What did you dress up as?

So I finally finished this book the other day. I do have to say I am sort of surprised. On the show Ghost Adventures, Zak Bagans almost seems an over-dramatic Paranormal Investigator. But honestly, with this book, he really comes across as a big intellectual. Of course, people will say that he had someone help him write it, so it’ll make him sound differently. But I’d like to think that Zak can hold his own in any conversation about Quantum Physics. All I know is, I learned a few things from him about it.
That’s right, he does compare paranormal investigation with Quantum theory and he’s right to do it. It all connects! Everything he talks about makes sense. Who would have thought that Zak Bagans even knows about any of this stuff.
This book, however, is mainly about a lot of the investigations that the Ghost Adventure Crew have done over the years. It’s really a lot of fun (and not so fun in some cases), hearing about some of the behind the scenes happenings during the investigations. I have to admit I was pretty interested.
Without giving away too much about the book, (just how much can you give away, right?) I really liked this book. I’d recommend it for anyone who is into the paranormal. Especially those interested in Ghost Adventures.
Apple Visionary Steve Jobs Dies At 56 – Wow, this is sad. His last days must have been so bad too.
Listeria outbreak frightens town – I could not even imagine being the farmer who owned the farm that sickened and killed people. If the CDC can’t even find the cause, could it not even be from the farm at all? Can they blame logistics?

Have you ever had what you thought was a pretty good TV show, but instead it got cancelled for some reason? Well looking at the image to the left, Kindred: The Embraced was cancelled, but could have been revived if one of the actors who played a main character had not died.
I try not to like a show too much. I don’t put any faith in any new shows, because I know they can get cancelled at the drop of a hat. What can you do about that?
Not all shows are cancelled because of low ratings either. Take into account Eureka, which was pretty much cancelled because Syfy decided it just plain too costly to make. I can respect that decision. But let’s cancel the other stupid projects and crap that Syfy has before they decide to cancel one of their best shows in their history of shows. (that’s only my opinion, that might not even be everyone’s opinion.)
Meanwhile, reality TV shows are taking over the TV lineup. Let’s keep pumping these out to make entertaining TV because “real life” is better. Too bad that “real life” is just the producers of the show trying to dramatize things to make it more interesting. I mean seriously, do something drastic and incredible happen to celebrities every day? I don’t think so. They film these shows over a long period of time and add interesting stuff or just edit things so that it gets exciting. Sorry folks, that’s not real life, that’s just TV.
I just wish the TV shows that I like didn’t have to suffer because their ratings did so bad for one or two episodes. I mean let’s change the rating system already. Let’s take in more factors! Let’s do something about this! Can’t we just make a petition or something? Oh wait. That’s been done so many times without success.
So, what TV have been cancelled on you?
