BLOOD KISS by Michael Reaves
Joe Belicek doesn’t believe in vampires – good thing they believe in him.
Are you looking for something to do? Why don’t you take a look at Blood Kiss? This Kickstarter project will be something else. Aren’t you at least curious about it? I mean really, we know Michael Reaves, right? He’s written a lot of stuff, about things we probably didn’t even know he wrote. Then there’s Neil Gaiman. He’s going to be in this too and he won’t be Neil Gaiman in this! He’ll be acting! Then there’s Amber Benson. Didn’t we all love her in Buffy? And you know she was in Supernatural, right? She was. That alone should be a reason to back this movie. Any Supernatural alumni should get full backing from all Supernatural fans. That’s the power of the Supernatural fan!
Seriously though, give this a chance. Check it out, back it, come back here and let me know. Make me proud. Meanwhile, don’t take my word for it, listen to the actors themselves:
Dr Who season 7 finale
Here we are, another ending to a great season of Doctor Who. How better to end it with a cliffhanger of a sorts. As River Song would say, I must warn you: spoilers! Don’t continue reading if you haven’t seen the show unless you wish to be spoiled. Spoilers after the bump.
Supernatural Season 8 finale
This post has spoilers there’s just no getting around it. Please don’t read any further if you haven’t seen the finale and don’t want any spoilers. You have been warned. Spoilers after the bump.
Chiquitita by Abba
“Chiquitita, tell me what’s wrong
You’re enchained by your own sorrow
In your eyes there is no hope for tomorrow
How I hate to see you like this
There is no way you can deny it
I can see that you’re oh so sad, so quiet
Chiquitita, tell me the truth
I’m a shoulder you can cry on
Your best friend, I’m the one you must rely on
You were always sure of yourself
Now I see you’ve broken a feather
I hope we can patch it up together
Chiquitita, you and I know
How the heartaches come and they go and the scars they’re leaving
You’ll be dancing once again and the pain will end
You will have no time for grieving
Chiquitita, you and I cry
But the sun is still in the sky and shining above you
Let me hear you sing once more like you did before
Sing a new song, chiquitita
Try once more like you did before
Sing a new song, chiquitita
So the walls came tumbling down
And your love’s a blown out candle
All is gone and it seems too hard to handle
Chiquitita, tell me the truth
There is no way you can deny it
I see that you’re oh so sad, so quiet
Chiquitita, you and I know
How the heartaches come and they go and the scars they’re leaving
You’ll be dancing once again and the pain will end
You will have no time for grieving
Chiquitita, you and I cry
But the sun is still in the sky and shining above you
Let me hear you sing once more like you did before
Sing a new song, chiquitita
Try once more like you did before
Sing a new song, chiquitita
Try once more like you did before
Sing a new song, chiquitita”
Why Supernatural is the best show on TV
I think the gag reels are the best part of Supernatural. I couldn’t stop laughing through this one.

So season 8 of Supernatural came out Wednesday night. I promise this post will be spoiler free. Instead, I want to summarize how a lot of things in Supernatural are. And how using a nifty formula, you can probably predict how it will be for most of the season.
So, we know Dean goes to purgatory. He comes back, much different. I mean spend a year in purgatory and tell me you wouldn’t change. Then there’s Sam. He didn’t spend a year in purgatory. Instead, he spent a year with someone and had a “normal” life. But he leaves her after a year. Or it would appear to be that way. So here’s my nifty formula:
- Dean and Sam spend time apart. This builds a rift between them. Check.
- Neither of the two will ever open up to the other and there will be tension between them because of some secret. But everything is just peachy.
- There’s always some external influence on one of the brothers that affects them in a bad way. But everything is good.
- There’s always a love interest that complicates things.
- There’s always a big blow-up or reveal that causes bad things between the brothers.
Well, it seems like that’s really all there is to a good season of Supernatural. Mix up those things and you could easily have a season of one of the greatest shows on TV. So knowing this, We know that there will be a time when Dean and Sam will get pissed off at each other and it will be so bad they will either fight each other, go separate ways (but not for long), and/or both.
Let’s analyze last night’s episode:
- Dean spends a year in purgatory. This changes Dean. A lot.
- Dean isn’t telling Sam a vital part about purgatory so far.
- The influence is what comes out of purgatory with Dean. (Spoilers!)
- Sam’s year was spent with a girl. But she hasn’t complicated things, or has she?
- It hasn’t happened yet, but I’m sure it will. Sam is going to blow up on Dean about the thing that comes out of purgatory with Dean, and oh, what really happened to Castiel?
So remember, that’s all you need to know to enjoy a season of Supernatural. I’m not saying this because I hate the show. I love the show! I’m just saying, this is a typical thing. See? No spoilers! Did you watch the show or did you DVR it?
Poll: Bacon or Sausage?
This poll is inspired by woot.com. I had to run this poll too, although I probably won’t get as many voters on this poll! So which do you like better? Bacon, or Sausage? Vote now!
Loading ...Congratulations Dario Franchitti
Congratulation to Dario Franchitti for winning the 2012 Indianapolis 500! I’m sure that Ashley Judd is very proud. She looked proud (and happy!) dancing at the speedway! I’m really, really just disappointed that Takuma Sato crashed with 2 laps to go. I really thought he had a good chance to win.
At first, my thought was that it was quite deliberate on Franchitti’s end, but you know what, 2 laps to go on the largest single day sporting event in the world? Yeah, I’d give Sato a little “nudge” too. I’m just disappointed that Sato decided to make his move then. He really surprised everyone. Probably the reason he did it too!
The good thing for Sato is that there is always next year, and this time he will be prepared.
What song always puts you in a good mood?
I know I’ve answered this question before in another post, and you know, it’s still the same song. The name of the song is “IKEMEN Boogie” from the Japanese Dorama called “Hanazakari no Kimitachi E”. I just love this song. If I knew how to add audio to this post on plinky, I would. I might have to share it on my own site to do so.
I loved watching this drama not because it has so many “IKEMEN” (good-looking men) but because of Horikita Maki who happens to be one of my favorite Japanese young actresses.
Supernatural Season Finale
Ok, the season finale for Supernatural aired last week for Season 7. Now it’s time to talk about it. Yes, there are spoilers in this. So if you haven’t seen the finale, now is the time to turn back, turn on your DVR and watch the episode already. When you’re ready, please continue on.
Read MoreMists of Pandaria Beta
For those of you who are lucky (or not so lucky) to have received a beta invitation to the new World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria, this post will not really come as a surprise. There is no NDA for the expansion, so I figure we’re free to talk about all we want. Besides, with so many people in the beta, is it even possible to enforce an NDA?
Let me get to the nitty-gritty. For anyone who has played the game, there is a quest for Pandarans where you must click on a scroll which then burns into nothingness. There’s nothing wrong with this quest, really, it’s a very simple quest. However, when you have so many players trying to do the same thing, we have an issue. Imagine a group of say twenty people trying to click on one scroll which disappears after clicked. I’m sure you can imagine the outcome. You end up standing there for approximately forever trying to click the scroll. This inevitably becomes a tiresome task.
I understand the circumstances. Normally you would never have this many people trying to click the scroll. However, this is going to happen because everyone is trying out the beta at the same time and beginning at the same time. This is inevitable. You’d think that after 4 expansions, Blizzard would have realized this problem and come up with a solution to the problem.
As you can guess, if you do not complete this quest, you cannot continue in your quest-line. While this might be a problem which can be overcome by just discovering things around you, at this point, you’re still level 1 or 2. There aren’t too many areas to discover at this point.
So at this point, I’m just wondering how Blizzard is going to fix this problem. I really hope they nip this one in the bud. Because honestly, the game is losing my interest. I’m yawning here. I’m much more interested in just playing Diablo 3 at this point. World of What?

This must be the best commercial for beer ever. Seriously funny.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
In my opinion, they should just go ahead and make St. Patrick’s Day an official holiday. Why not? People are supposed to celebrate by dancing, drinking and feasting! Isn’t that what History.com tells us? Everyone knows that the History Channel would never lie to us. What was that saying? “I saw it on TV so it must be true!”
Anyways, I still think we could all just use a day where we sit back, relax, pound a few beers, and celebrate whatever you want to celebrate. Celebrate life, that new promotion, whatever. I don’t think we really need an excuse to party, but if it works for you, just celebrate life.
