hello! yoshi

Ok, since there is no blogathon this year, I need to do a contest to give away these 2 mp3 players I originally was going to give out as part of the ‘thon. So here’s the contest in easy bulleted form with rules:

1. Make a post about one of your “most embarrassing moments in your life.” It can be anything. If you can’t think of one, then make it up.
2. In your post, link to this entry and leave a comment telling me you did it. You’ll automatically be entered in the contest when you do so.
3. The deadline for this contest is next Sunday. At 7/21 12:00am, no entries will be taken.
4. If you don’t have a blog, that’s ok too! Write it up in any text editor or word processor you want, and then leave a comment and I’ll email you back with more instructions. I don’t want anyone to miss out on this!
5. Entries will be judged by a 3 person panel, of which I am one, but I will not disclose the other 2 until the contest is over. No bribes please!
6. The winning 2 entries will be determined by which post was the best. It can be funny, horrific, suspenseful, whatever. Just be interesting!
7. Each entry will be appended to this post so everyone can check them out. Good luck!

Ok, I’ve determined what kind of contest I’m going to have to win these 1GB MP3 players. They’re brand new never been opened! I was going to use these as giveaways for the Blogathon, but since this year there is no blogathon, I’m just doing a contest giveaway, which will be announced on Sunday!

Have you seen this article about a deputy pushing over a paraplegic in a wheelchair?? WTF? What is up with this world? From what I understand the gentleman was pushed over because he wouldn’t stand up to be frisked. Hello people! He’s is a freaking wheelchair, and he can’t move his legs! How the hell is he going to stand up? Wow. This is where karma rocks. That deputy will get it back. Just watch.

Also, my contest for a tagline is still going on. I got some great ideas, but I’m still wanting more. And some of you have asked me what the prize is. Well, I’m not sure what the winner will get yet, but it could be a gift certificate/card, or maybe even some kind of design for their website (should they own one). So please feel free to comment away!

Ok as suggested by Melanie I’m having a contest to come up with my new tagline. This all started when cybr said my old tagline (”If I had a tagline, it would go here.”) is really just a tagline that says “I have no tagline”. So after much thought and throwing around ideas with some folks (Katie, JozJozJoz, and Pandora) and finally following Melanie’s advice, there is a contest!

Please come up with my newest tagline! Feel free to peruse my old posts and see what would be appropriate. Let me throw some ideas that were ok, but were eventually scrapped:

“Yoshi, the real thing” (actually this is an old one. lol)
“I wanna do it like Yoshi!” (actually again this is an old one Pandora came up with!)
“You better get your yoshi out.”
“I want yoshi and I want it now.”

So leave your proposals in the comments. I’m anxious to hear what comes out of this.
