This morning seems like I’m rushing here and there and here and there. I get around to greeting my peeps, and first, what happens, I get an email from Katie telling me I dropped from the world. WTH? I’m right there, logged on GTalk. Then I get another message on Yahoo from Melanie: Hmm. No, I don’t see you online. WTF? What’s up with Google this morning? So I then notice that Katie is “offline”. Then I message Jules and sure enough I get the stupid error box : Cannot send your message bleah bleah bleah. Damn Google. what gives?
So I’m restarting apps, restarting browsers, going this way and that, rushing rushing rushing. Life seems like it’s a big rush sometimes doesn’t it? Anyways, finally after all this time, Google wakes up and now I can reach it.
Of course, I’m sure it could have been my connection to Google too. But you know what, it’s just easier to blame them. Danalyn and I say it all the time, “Google sucks”.

So tonight I’m struck with the Insomnia bug yet again. I’m tired, but I can’t sleep. I lay down and I’m wide awake. It sucks. Insomnia blows.
You might notice that the top graphic has changed away from my mac. It was a masthead made by Colin who said I had won it from last years Blogathon. Yay! It’s awesome isn’t it? I Love it.
In other news, my angelic, better half Meesh has Acute Bronchitis. At least it’s not Chronic Bronchitis which is supposed to be rather painful, or so I was told by her. We’re coping though and I swear if she’s not feeling good tomorrow I’ll have to detain her here at home. She’s feeling guilty that she’s not at work and thinks she should go. She’s so nice, she puts tears in my eyes I’m telling you.
In even more news, if you’re looking to find out what’s going on with American Idol, there’s really no need to wait or watch the actual show. Spare yourself and stop by Pandora’s or Daniel’s to get a good idea of how the show went down. As a matter of a fact, I prefer either one of them over Ryan Seacrest. Perhaps they should try out for host next year? You never know!
cybr is in Malaysia right now, and got sick after drinking some water at a local restaurant. Which is too bad because he’s in Kuala Lumpur and I could think of a lot of things better to do than be sick in bed! Wish him some good thoughts and take a visit over there.
I think I’m just about done with the link pimping on this episode of “Yoshi’s Insomnia attack”. If you’ve made it this far, please don’t forget that tomorrow is Free for all Friday and you’ll be able to make a post on this site to talk about anything! There will be a “sticky” post when the form is available to use! Get ready to pimp your own site! No spammers please, those will be deleted!

Well, since I can’t really think of a really good post, I thought I’d go ahead and see what other people are doing on the net. I did watch the Interview with Matt about Wordpress 2.5 and other stuff @ Yahoo. That was interesting. I’m anxious to see what the back end will look like. He says that they’re making it “simpler”. Wow. I don’t know how much more simple you can get.
cybrpunk is obsessing about capsule toys. I have to admit I’m a bit jealous, I really want a Goomba for myself!
Katie posted some song lyrics, of which I don’t think I know any of. But that’s nothing new, I’m not up on the music with the kids nowadays.
Pandora is discussing American Idol - the girls. I would feign interest, but even that is too much effort for me. American Idol just doesn’t aMuse me anymore.
Daniel keeps continuing to kill me laughter. He’s good at that.
Muse will never get used to the smells in HK, and you know what, that’s good as far as I’m concerned.
So there we have it, a small summary of some things I read today.

So as of late (since yesterday I mean), I’ve been hanging out at the USN - Together We Served website. What is this site? It’s a place for US Navy veterans (like me) and active duty to keep in touch with their shipmates. It’s great. I’ve found a few people with whom I’ve simply just lost touch with. It’s great. I’ve been looking for a few people and have found some of them.
Unfortunately, I can’t find everyone, since they haven’t signed up for the site. I just have to find them another way I suppose.
If you’re in the Navy, then you should check this out. If you were in any other armed forces, they do have sister sites for Marines and the Air Force. I know quite a few people in both the Marines (being a corpsman and all) and the Air Force (ex-AF brat), so I wish there was a way for me to add those people to “my shipmates” list.
